M4's faced a Blueharts 8 side in the league whom they had faced 2 weeks ago in a friendly at Nobel. With a back 4 of Ian Noble, Joe Gore, Alex Lake, and Anand Mann M4's soaked up Blueharts chances well, just like the weather. However, on the 14th minute M4's found themselves a goal down and 7 minutes later conceded a 2nd. Kal Singh and Jon Parker came on in order to push Joe Gore into a more midfield position. Despite Joe linking well with the midfield of Kevin Robbins, Tony Farnan and Lee Pickersgill M4's unfortunately conceded 2 further goals in the first period. M4's heads did not drop and came out blazing for the second period. M4's midfield closed down the Blueharts midfield, well limiting Blueharts attacks in a very even second period. Mike Hamid made a number of good saves, and M4s had numerous chances on the Blueharts goal from the strike partnership of Harp Mann and Simon Russell. After numerous PC's that M4's won in the second period, M4 took advantage in the 61st minute that was converted by Tim Brewer after a goalmouth scramble. Unfortunately, 2 minutes later, Blueharts managed to get themselves another goal to give a final scoreline of 5 - 1....overall was a very even game especially in the second period with M4's definitely deserving more than the solitary goal....MoM, Stevenage FC's biggest supporter, Tony Farnan ?
