M4's travelled to Hertford 7's Development on the back of 5 straight defeats with Paul Hemmant in goal and a back 4 of Pete Hindle and Ian Noble as CB with Graham Spicer as RB and Kal Singh as LB. M4'S played brightly in a even game passing well with Chris Niewdach and Josh Lake combining well in CM with Lee Pickersgill passing well in RM and Joe Gore passing and running well in LM. On 30 minutes M4's found themselves a goal ahead when the outrunning Hertford keeper missed the ball on a 1 on 1 challenge with Chris Niewdach for him to round the keeper giving him an empty net and his first goal for Stevenage. M4's came out for the second period playing exactly as they had done in the first period. Jonathan Parker as LB and Alex Lake as LM played well with M4's passing well and defending Hertford attacks well. On the 39th minute the ball was swept into and across the D for Josh Lake to brilliantly tap into the net for M4's second goal in the 39th minute.Hertford 7's grabbed a goal back on the 46th minute. However, M4's weren't disheartened into conceding and Harp Mann swept home a goal 2 minutes later. Harp Mann grabbed his 2nd goal of the game on the 63rd minute with Hertford gaining a late goal in the 66th minute to give a final scoreline of 4 - 2....M4's first win since the win over Broxbourne 4's in November with the whole team playing and passing well....MoM Chris Niewdach and Josh Lake ?
