M4's played against Luton Town 3's after playing 3 consecutive matches away on a bright sunny afternoon...With no subs and Mike Hamid in goal, M4's started brightly passing well in a very end to end match....unfortunately, M4's conceded 2 early goals in the 9th and 12th minute despite the back 4 of Pete Hindle, Kal Singh, Ian Noble and Graham Spicer all defending well, soon after Luton received a green card. M4's continued to play well with Pete Hindle linking well with Jon Parker in LM and Joe Gore making some good runs up the Left wing of the pitch and putting good balls into the D, similarly Lee Pickersgill played well on the right wing putting good balls in towards the D. The CM partnership of Chris Niewdach and Josh Lake combined well, creating chances in towards the lone striker of Alex Lake. Unfortunately, despite good play from M4's, a further goal was conceded on the stroke of half time in the 34th minute giving a half time score line of 3-0. M4's came out for the second period carrying on playing some good hockey and passing well in a very end to end match, creating good numerous chances in the D, which were well saved by the Luton keeper. Ian Noble received a 5 minute yellow card in the 51st minute and Chris Niewdach battled well after going off for 5 minutes and coming back on the pitch after receiving a ball to the knee. Despite M4's numerous chances, 4 further goals were conceded, bringing a final score line of 7-0.....MOM Joe Gore ?
